These terms apply to your use of PDFtextflow and its six PDF tools. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools.

Using the tools.

PDFtextflow provides free tools to extract PDF text, recognize scanned pages, add or replace text, and create or edit bookmarks. No account is required. Processing happens in your browser, and availability and performance depend on your browser, device, and document.

Your documents and responsibility.

You retain ownership of your documents. Only process files you own or have permission to use, and use the website lawfully. Do not use the service to infringe others’ rights, distribute malicious content, or interfere with the website’s operation.

Review every result.

Text extraction can change reading order, OCR can misread words, and text edits can affect formatting or nearby content. Generated bookmarks may need correction. Keep your original document and review downloaded results before using or sharing them. Editing a PDF may invalidate its digital signatures.

Availability and limitations.

The tools are provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, compatibility with every PDF, or error-free results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PDFtextflow disclaims warranties about the tools and is not responsible for losses resulting from your use of their output. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Privacy and third-party software.

Our Privacy Policy explains local document processing and the network requests needed to load the website and OCR resources. The tools use third-party libraries under their respective licenses; see About Us for details.

Changes and questions.

We may update the website and these terms as the service changes. Check this page for the current terms. If you have a question about them, contact us before using the tools.
